Fox Meadow Trailhead to Weaver Lake

This is an alternate route to Weaver Lake via the Fox Meadow Trailhead. The route is a gradual 2.5-mile climb that starts at Fox Meadow and terminates at Weaver Lake. Weaver Lake offers fifteen campsites with fire rings along the west side of the lake. Weaver Lake gets quite a bit of traffic on the weekends, but hikers who arrive before noon on Saturdays shouldn't have any trouble finding a spot to camp. Overnight campers must possess a campfire permit. Backcountry permits and bear canisters are not required for this hike.
